About GoCardless
GoCardless is a London-based fintech that helps businesses collect and send payments directly via bank-to-bank rails, reducing failed payments and card fees. Founded in 2011, it serves tens of thousands of businesses worldwide, from freelancers to large enterprises, through Direct Debit and open banking payments. In December 2025 the company agreed to be acquired by Dutch payments firm Mollie in a deal worth roughly €1.1bn, forming a combined European payments platform.
