Revolut completes share sale at a $75 billion valuation

Revolut has completed a share sale that values the company at $75 billion. The fintech announced the deal on 24 November 2025. It makes Revolut one of the most valuable private technology companies in Europe, and the figure compares with a post-money valuation of $48 billion recorded by PitchBook as of August 2025.
Who invested
Coatue, Greenoaks, Dragoneer and Fidelity Management & Research Company led the transaction. A wider group of investors took part, including Andreessen Horowitz, Franklin Templeton and accounts advised by T. Rowe Price Associates. NVentures, the venture capital arm of Nvidia, also invested, and Revolut says this deepens its collaboration with the chip giant in areas such as AI.
Revolut did not say how much money the sale raised. Because it was a share sale, current employees were given the chance to sell part of their holdings. The company said it has now run five such sales and that its employee share programme is among the most liquid of any private company.
The results behind the price
Revolut tied the valuation to its recent performance. Revenue for 2024 grew 72% to $4.0 billion, and profit before tax rose 149% to $1.4 billion. In 2025 the retail customer base passed 65 million, and Revolut Business reached $1 billion in annualised revenue.
Founded in 2015, the company offers multi-currency accounts, payments and transfers, crypto products, insurance and more. TechCrunch also pointed to Revolut X, its crypto exchange within the Wealth division, where revenue climbed 298% to $647 million in 2024 from $158 million a year earlier.
Banking licences and new markets
The valuation follows a run of expansion milestones. Revolut said it received its final banking authorisation in Mexico, with a launch to come, and a banking incorporation licence in Colombia, where TechCrunch said it is about to start operating in 2026. It is also preparing to launch in India.
In the United Kingdom, Revolut was still waiting for a final approval to operate as a full bank. It already holds a banking licence in the EU and runs operations in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Brazil and the United States. Further plans include Argentina, a first step into Africa through South Africa, and an in-principle payments licence in the United Arab Emirates. Revolut calls this acceleration a core part of its strategy to build the world's first truly global bank.
What the executives said
Chief executive and co-founder Nik Storonsky said the milestone reflects progress made over twelve months towards "the first truly global bank", serving 100 million customers across 100 countries. He thanked the team for believing that a global financial and technology leader could be built from Europe.
Chief financial officer Victor Stinga said investor interest and the new valuation reflect a business model that delivers rapid growth and strong profitability together. He added that Revolut welcomed the new investors and looked forward to the next stage of its development.
The company's stated targets are 100 million customers by mid-2027 and entry into more than 30 new markets by 2030.
