About MuRay Tech
MuRay Tech (MuRayTech GmbH) is a Hamburg deeptech company spun out of the DESY research centre. It develops Active Muon Imaging: a compact laser-plasma accelerator generates a controlled muon beam to produce 3D images of dense metal, ceramic and composite components non-destructively, in minutes. First uses are quality assurance for 3D-printed rocket engines and gas turbine parts, with cargo screening and medical imaging as longer-term applications. A software and AI team is based in Tallinn.
