What we publish
Six ways to be on European Startup Insider. Each one needs a few things from you.
Article
News and the Insight sections: Entrepreneur Resources, Innovation, Funding & Investments. Shown on the home page, category pages and /news.
- Title, an excerpt of up to 300 characters, and the full text or a link to the draft
- Approximate word count (we estimate reading time at about 230 words a minute)
- Cover photo, at least 1600 px wide
Product video
Product (/videos) and the "Startup Product Presentation" block on the home page.
- A YouTube link: upload the video to your own channel first
- Video length in mm:ss or h:mm:ss
- Summary of up to 280 characters and a topic (Fintech, Climate, AI, Events, Funding)
Founder video
Founders (/founders) and the "Founders in Spotlight" block on the home page.
- A YouTube link and the video length
- Founder name and a link to their profile
- Summary of up to 280 characters and the type: interview, pitch, scaling, fundraising or lessons
Podcast episode
Podcast (/podcast) and the home page. Record in our Sintra studio or send an existing episode.
- Guest name and topic
- For an existing episode: YouTube link, length and a summary of up to 280 characters
- For a new recording: preferred dates for the Sintra studio
Event
Events & Networking (/events), "Upcoming events" and the home page.
- Event name, city, venue and date
- Registration link and a photo
- Short summary of what the event is and who it is for
Startup spotlight
The paid spotlight boxes and the lead showcase tile on the home page.
- Logo as a transparent PNG or SVG, about 240×96
- Cover photo, at least 1600 px wide
- Your story in 60 to 80 words (up to 600 characters) and your website
Videos are always published from YouTube. Upload to your own channel first, then send us the link. We do not host video files.
Keep it at the front
Any format can be promoted. While a placement is active, your item is shown first in its section with a “Sponsored” label. When the days run out it drops back to its normal place and stays published.
